Submission

All the participants are welcome to submit abstracts by locating yourselves in the abstract submission section that offers details on the submission process, guidelines, and formatting requirements. The poster guidelines section for students and postdoctoral researchers provides information on effectively designing and presenting your poster.


Abstract Submission

We strongly encourage participation and welcome abstract submissions from students and postdoctoral researchers for poster presentations.

 

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstract should adhere to the style and formatting requirements in the following template: Download here
  • Abstract should not exceed one A4 page, including figure(s)/table(s) and references, with a maximum of 300 words for the main text.
  • Main text should be with single line spacing.
  • References should be in American Medical Association (AMA) style.
  • The file name of the abstract should be in this format:

(Name)_(symposium).docx (e.g. James Doe_Energy storage.docx)

 

Submission Notes

  1. The Organizing Chairs will review the contents and scientific merits of the abstracts.
  2. Acceptance or Rejection of the abstract will be sent to presenters by email. Presenters of accepted abstracts must register for the conference (please see the Registration page for details).
  3. Presenters not registered beyond the registration deadline will be seen as forfeiting their presentation.

Poster Guidelines

Posters should highlight and summarise the main findings of your research. Poster presentation is only eligible for students and postdoctoral researchers.

  • All presenters are required to register for the conference by 2 May 2024, 11:59PM [Hong Kong Time].
  • A display board measuring 1000mm in width x 2000mm in height will be provided. Posters should be in A0 size (width: 841mm x height: 1189mm) and include the followings:
    • Abstract title, author and co-author names, and affiliations
  • Presenters are required to print out their posters. All posters should be dismantled by the presenters at the end of the conference. Any poster not collected at the end of the conference will be disposed without further notice.

Electronics or audio-visual equipment will NOT be provided by organizers at the poster presentation area.
