Welcome

We are thrilled to extend our warmest welcome and sincere gratitude to all the participants to The 2nd International Symposium on Chemical & Biomedical Imaging (CBMI-II). The CBMI-II will take place on May 27-29, 2026 in Hong Kong, which is organized by the Department of Applied Biology and Chemical Technology (ABCT) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

CBMI symposium series, a biennial event since 2024, is a flagship event of the ACS journal Chemical & Biomedical Imaging in partnership with Nanjing University. It aims to boost communication among global investigators, covering advancements in molecular imaging, molecular probe & contrast agent development, chemical biology labeling, single-molecule & super-resolution imaging, single particle & interface imaging, biomedical imaging in clinics, innovations in imaging instrumentation, AI-assisted imaging and disease diagnosis.

The theme of 2026 CBMI-II is Frontier Chemical Biology & Molecular Theranostics. This three-day offline event will include plenary, keynote, invited, oral lectures and student talks, as well as forum discussions and poster sessions. Besides meeting like-minded scientists in molecular imaging, we will also extend a warm welcome to you in Hong Kong, such a beautiful global financial hub and world-leading research cluster.

The organizing committee anticipates that this symposium will provide an ideal environment for exchange of diverse opinions, ideas, and philosophies. We wish all the participants can appreciate the opportunity to network and form lasting connections with your peers as you embark on new research endeavors.
