Payment is to be made in HKD (Hong Kong Dollar) via our online payment system, and the exchange rate above is based on USD1 to HKD7.8. However, the final rate will be set by your bank and shown on your bank statement.
If you are an existing ALAPP Society Member, you can avail the discounted fee. At the time of registration, you can choose to become an ALAPP Society Member for one year and avail the discounted fee instantly. The ALAPP Society membership will include a year’s online subscription to the Journal of Applied Linguistics and Professional Practice [JALPP] as well as being added to the Distribution List for receiving future ALAPP-related announcements. ALAPP Society members can also avail 30% discount on Equinox published books ordered directly by using a specific code for one year.

Masterclass participation (registration deadline: 9 December 2024)
Participation in the Pre-ALAPP Masterclass on 16 December 2024 is HKD195 (USD25) for all conference attendees.
There is a fee of HKD390 (USD50) for non-ALAPP attendees, which will include a year’s online subscription to the Journal of Applied Linguistics and Professional Practice [JALPP].

Conference dinner HKD240 (USD30) per person: Tuesday 17 December 2024 (Venue: U.Green, PolyU / Menu) (Original price: HKD568 per person. The remaining cost is subsidized by the conference.)
Terms of cancellation
Cancellations with requests for registration refunds must be received in writing before 17 November 2024. Refunds will not be given for cancellations received after the given deadlines, nor will they be given for failure to attend any of the events.
If the conference must switch to an online format for compelling reasons, no refunds will be granted.
