Best Paper Award and Best Poster Award
These awards are presented to the six best posters and best two free papers presented by eligible participants in iCover2024. It rewards a combination of excellent research, innovation, and presentation. A small panel of experts will judge the awards.
Awardees are selected on site (posters’ presenters not attended their scheduled time will not be considered) and award recipients will be announced during the conference. These awards include a certificate and monetary award.
Criteria and Guidelines
- Three awards will be selected by the award judging panel;
- Announcement of award recipients will be made at the Award Presentation Ceremony on 24 May 2024 (Friday);
- Award recipients must attend the award presentation. The organizers reserve the right to cancel / amend all or any part of the Awards;
- Award recipients will each receive a certificate and monetary award.
1) Best Paper Awards
- Eligible participants for the Best Paper Award include non-faulty members (Post-doctoral Fellow/ Post-graduate Clinical Trainee) and research students in year 2024.
- Selection of the award will be based on the following criteria:
- Presentation style and research quality;
- Clarity and quality of presentation;
- Responses to questions and comments;
- Scientific contribution
- Presentation style and research quality;
2) Best Poster Awards
- Eligible participants for the Best Poster Awards include non-faulty members (Post-doctoral Fellow/ Post-graduate Clinical Trainee) and research students in year 2024.
- The qualified poster size is in A0 size in vertical orientation (W841 x H1189 mm).
- Please submit the final version of the poster to “info.icover@polyu.edu.hk” no later than 20 May 2024, 5 pm Hong Kong Time.
- Eligible First authors must accept their eligibility and confirm their attendance in the on-site judging session.
- Eligible First Authors must present their poster during the Poster Sessions scheduled on 23-24 May 2024.
- Selection of the award will be based on the following criteria:
- Originality of the Work
- Significance of the Work
- Content / Organization
- Quality of the Results
- Use of Graphics
