Prof. Kenneth Young

Professor Kenneth Young is a theoretical physicist whose scholarly contributions span elementary particle theory, quantum field theory, high-energy phenomenology, and the study of dissipative systems. Throughout his career at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), he has been a tireless advocate for research excellence, rigorous peer review, and a modern approach to graduate education. Beyond his own scholarship, Professor Young's influence extends across Hong Kong’s entire higher education ecosystem. Through his stewardship on numerous committees and his long-standing role as a trustee of the Croucher Foundation, he has helped to cultivate a vibrant research culture, significantly strengthening Hong Kong's global presence in the scientific community.
