Technical Tour

We are delighted to invite you to join the Technical Tour organized as part of the 4th World Conference on Floating Solutions (WCFS 2024). The Technical Tour will take place on 4 December 2024 (from 8am to 2:30pm), featuring two significant visits:

The Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) Floating Fish Farm at Tung Lung Chau: Explore the innovative and sustainable practices in aquaculture at this state-of-the-art facility.

Sustainable Lantau Office - Tung Chung Community Liaison Centre (CLC): Learn about the Sustainable Lantau Project, which focuses on the balanced and sustainable development of Lantau. Additionally, engage in an insightful session about the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, highlighting the engineering marvels and sustainable development efforts.

Below is the roadmap for the Technical Tour：

+ Tung Chung Community Liaison Centre (CLC)

+ Floating Fish Farm at Tung Lung Chau

+ Assembly point: Hung Hom MTR Station - Exit C3 (as shown below):

To ensure a smooth and organized experience, the tour is divided into two groups:

Group A: Visit the Floating Fish Farm first, followed by the CLC. Departure from Hung Hom MTR Station Exit C3 at 8:00 am.

Group B: Visit the CLC first, followed by the Floating Fish Farm. Departure from Hung Hom MTR Station Exit C3 at 8:00 am.

Due to safety regulations, only 25 participants can visit the Floating Fish Farm at a time, so each group is limited to 25 people, with a total of 50 positions available. We encourage you to register early to secure your spot.

The registration fee for the tour is USD 90, which includes transportation by coach and boat (Enjoy the View of the Victoria Harbor), a lunch near the visiting site, as well as insurance.
