Guidelines for Abstract Submission

We welcome abstract submissions for the 14th Pan-Pacific Conference on Rehabilitation. Please follow the guidelines below to ensure your submission is eligible for consideration. Abstracts not meeting these requirements will not be considered for presentation.
Submission Process
- Submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations via the online system: Abstract Submission Portal.
- All abstracts must be submitted by 7 September 2025 through the online system. Submissions via fax, hard copy, or email will not be accepted.
- For multiple abstract submissions, each abstract must be submitted separately.
- Abstracts failing the pre-screening process will be returned for revision to be resubmitted by 30 September 2025. Late resubmissions will not be considered.
- The online system will confirm receipt of your abstract via email. Contact rsppcr@polyu.edu.hk for technical issues or questions.
Abstract Content
- Abstracts must present original work with a clearly stated focus, aligned with one of the following themes:
- Primary Healthcare
- Psychosocial Rehabilitation & Mental Wellness
- Physical Rehabilitation
- Education in Rehabilitation Sciences
- Intelligent Rehabilitation
- Authors are responsible for the accuracy of their abstract. Accepted abstracts will appear as submitted in the electronic program, unless returned for revision during pre-screening.
- Indicate your preference for oral or poster presentation during submission. The Scientific Programme Committee will determine the final presentation mode, notified with the acceptance decision.
Notification and Registration
- Corresponding authors will receive all submission-related correspondence and are responsible for informing co-authors.
- The Scientific Committee will notify presenters of decisions by 15 September 2025.
- Presenters of accepted abstracts must register and pay the registration fee by 30 September 2025. Failure to do so will result in exclusion from the final program.
Abstract Requirements
- Abstracts must be written in English.
- Abstracts must follow this format:
- Title: Maximum 30 words.
- Authors: List first name followed by family name (e.g., T.M. Chan). Omit degrees and titles. The submitting author is the presenter. Include institution and country (e.g., T.M. Chan¹, J. Doe²; ¹Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong; ²Division of General Medicine and Primary Care, Harvard Medical School, U.S.A.).
- Content: Use these headings:
- AIMS
- METHODS
- RESULTS
- CONCLUSIONS
- Length: Maximum 250 words.
- Format: Use standard abbreviations only. References, images, figures, or tables are not permitted.
