The Ninth Research Methods Summer School for Research Students co-organized by the School of Hotel and Tourism Management (SHTM), The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) and the School of Tourism Management (STM), Sun Yat-Sen University (SYSU), will be held from 5 to 9 August 2024 at the SHTM Premises. This Summer School is open to all research students who are pursuing their PhD studies in the field of tourism and hospitality from recognized universities.

With the theme "Advancing Research Through Innovative Research Methods and Analytics", this five-day Summer School aims to equip research students with recent advances in research methodologies and enhance their research abilities in solving complex research problems. A distinctive feature is that the seminar series will emphasise on the international best practices in tourism research. Participants will also be exposed to critical reviews of the published studies so that they can gain insights into the frontiers of tourism research.
