Welcome to the Healthy Ageing Conference!

This year's theme, "Progressing the Healthy Ageing Agenda: Translating and Implementing Healthy Ageing Programmes and Initiatives in our Communities," sets the stage for an inspiring and action-oriented gathering. Our conference serves as a dynamic platform for dialogue, experience sharing, and networking among stakeholders dedicated to advancing healthy ageing in the Western Pacific region and beyond.

We invite presentations of research work, implemented projects, programmes, and ideas that have contributed to healthy ageing in the region. The subthemes are based on the four Action Areas of the UN Decade of Healthy Ageing: changing how we think, feel, and act towards ageing (ageism); cultivating age-friendly environments; creating integrated and responsive health care systems and services; and ensuring access to long-term care for older people who need it.
