Oral Presentation Guidelines 

  1. All presenters are required to register in the conference.
  2. All presentations MUST be in English.
  3. All presenters should arrive at the presentation room 10 minutes before their scheduled session starts. Presenters should stay throughout the whole presentation session.
  4. Each presenter should finish his/her presentation within the duration specified in the letter of acceptance. Each presentation should be within 10 minutes including a ‘Question and Answer (Q&A)’ session. The moderator will be responsible for monitoring and adhering to time constraints of the presentation session.

PowerPoint Submission Arrangement

  1. Presenters should prepare the presentation file in Microsoft PowerPoint 2021 and above version (file extension: pptx) or Adobe PDF format. 
  2. If the presentation file includes video clips, please also bring the original video file in Microsoft Windows Media Video (file extension: wmv) format.
  3. Every presenter should upload the file to the laptop placed at the registration counter in the morning of the presentation day.

Audio-Visual Equipment

  1. Each room is equipped with a laptop computer and a LCD projector. Presenters are strongly encouraged to use the on-site computer to ensure stable system connection.
  2. If it is unavoidable, and presenters must use their own laptop, please bring all the necessary adapters which are compatible with the projector (HDMI port). To ensure compatibility, presenters MUST set up and check equipment at their presentation room at least 30 minutes before the session starts.

The Healthy Ageing Conference 2025 promotes bias-free language and inclusive language when referring to older people. The conference organizers requests that authors use the term “older adult” when describing individuals aged 65 years and older. Terms that promote discriminatory and negative stereotypes should not be used. Please refer to Reframing Aging Journal Manuscript Guidelines.
