Awards 

The following prestigious awards honor the exceptional performance and achievements of our students in this year’s PolyU Research Student Conference. We recognize their efforts, academic excellence, innovation, and dedication towards advancing knowledge in their respective fields and towards a sustainable future.  

Best Paper Award 

All submitted abstracts are reviewed and scored by members from related disciplines in our Technical Programme Committee (TPC). Abstracts with the highest review scores in each conference track are selected as the candidates for the Best Paper Award and will be presented in the Best Paper Session. The presentations will be evaluated by a judging panel.  

The following criteria are taken into consideration for this award.

Best Presentation Award 

Accepted abstracts will be presented at various sessions in the conference under the four main tracks. This award will be provided to participants who are selected as the best in each session by the session co-chairs and the final decision made by the conference chairs.  

The criteria to be used for consideration of this award are outlined below:

Best Poster Award 

Participants providing e-posters of their research for each conference track would have each e-poster evaluated by the Technical Programme Committee (TPC) according to the criteria given below. The poster with the highest score in each track shall be recommended for the Best Poster Award, and the final decision is made by the conference chairs.
